Sidewinder 714
Original rock band out of Atlanta GA
1997 to 2001
Hailing from Atlanta Georgia , Sidewinder 714 created a unique blend of groove-oriented hard rock, blues and pop. Sidewinder 714 has written numerous hook-based songs with lyrics that span the range of the human experience and their listeners find that easy to listen to. Anonymous Friction Dance was released to provide a limited demo of their music. Sidewinder 714 had written much more music than they were able to record prior to breaking up. Their break up happened within a year of lead their singer being widowed at the early age of thirty. The band will remain friends and bonded for life after seeing each other through some of their most challenging lifetime experiences.

Rick Bellochio
Lead Guitar
Rick was born and raised in New York, just outside of the city. He began playing guitar at the age of sixteen to the sounds of Joan Jett and AC/DC. Rick formed the New York band SuperCouch in 1995 with one of his college friends, Vinny. After mild success on the local scene, and a chronic problem finding a decent drummer, he moved to Atlanta. There he answered an ad that Greg had placed in the local paper looking to form an Atlanta band.
Kristy Smith-Light
Lead Singer
Kristy was born and raised in western Kentucky. Promptly at the age of eighteen, she left the bluegrass hills in search of city life. Atlanta Georgia is where she ended up settling. The first song Kristy auditioned to was Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf. She landed the part as lead vocalist for The Rooks. Kristy then moved to Houston, Texas for a year while her husband, Adam, was a patient at MD Anderson. Looking for work, Kristy contacted a local agent who immediately placed her with a multiple gigs per week band called The Hooligan's. Once able to return to Atlanta, Kristy joined forces with Greg, Rick and Sean and formed Sidewinder 714.

Greg Sword
Bass Player
Greg was born in rural Detroit and after growing up listening to the sounds of Van Halen and other premier rock bands of the day, he began to feel a burning desire to become a rock and roll bass player. He began learning to play bass at age 19. After forming and playing in several bands, he moved to Atlanta to get a fresh environment for his musical passion. In Atlanta he played in Steamroller 57, and Primitive Dog, in which he met Rick. As the two began to form a profound and lasting friendship, they also became determined to conquer their musical goals. He and Rick set out to form what became Sidewinder 714.
Sean Steers
Drums
Sean was born in Texas, and started playing drums t age 12. After moving to Minnesota he joined his first band called Nastay Boys at age fifteen. Sean eventually moved on to playing with Mirror Image and then a band called Jester. Once Jester broke up, Sean moved to Georgia. He sat out of the music scene for a short time while looking for the right band to wreak havoc with. Then he made the call to Greg and Rick. Together they snagged Kristy and became Sidewinder 714.
